September 15

At the clinic this week the doctor reckons that I could be in and finished with the stem cell transplant before Christmas - that would be really good.

September 29

I start my third part of the treatment today and am likely to be in hospital for 4-5 days afterwards.

October 5

Got out of hospital today after a week of discomfort through feeling nauseous from time to time.  Nice to be home to eat what I want, when I want it.  Still feeling a little fragile but hope to be back to normal in a week.

October 21

Had an appointment with the consultant at Russells Hall.  They should have a bed for me on 29th October to start the treatment.  For details see page 2.

October 28

Had a telephone call today.  My bed may go if I don’t go in this evening, so I did.  No treatment to be given until October 31.  For details go to next page “Stem Cell Treatment”

I must thank everyone for their kind comments and good wishes to me.

I also want to thank friends, and of course, my family, especially Yvonne, who have put up with my illness for the last three years and the lack of energy associated with it.
